Hi, I uploaded the above skin in my skin folder, extract it, change my defaultskin in LocalSettings.php to “cavendish”, and cleared my cache, but it is not working as you can see from my website.

Try logging out and you’ll see the new theme is being used. As you are logged in, the system uses the theme you specified in your account preferences prior to adding the new theme and setting it as default.

Template changes the print layout. Prints the search bar, and all the links instead of just the content.

I installed Cavendish, and it looks great, BUT, I can’t get the javascript edit toolbar to come up when I edit a page.

All of the default skins work fine, but not this one. is there a reason for it?

Please compare MonoBook.php and cavendish.php and check the codes between and , you will find out that no “data ); ?>” in cavendish.php. So you can add this line to MonoBook.php before “<script type=”text(’jsmimetype’) ?>”.

  6. DomainWiki Says:

sorry Wordpress cut the codes. You can see the resolution at http://www.ipbwiki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=415

I am using Cavendish for Mediawiki 1.13.1 and everything looks great, except that a few pages on Internet Explorer get the main content positioned under the sidebar. It will appear normal on Firefox browsers, but IE seems to have the issue only. Does anyone know of a correction to the CSS to fix this?

I love this skin, and I am using it for my wiki, but I would love to see an update of it, as it contains several bugs. The creator seems to have gone underground.

Kristofer, here’s the link for an updated version. I have it and I know it works well with MW 13.1.
